Greg's Review:This app was originally tablet certified on 10-31-11. bitolithic did a major update to the software earlier this week. The update is free if you purchased the app previously.
Two major changes: completely reworked the library to make it much easier to resort comics/folders and smart page motion which moves from panel to panel instead of simply turning the page.
I had an issue with the old version where sometimes when I deleted a comic the thumbnail art would disappear but the title would stay. I had to power completely down to get rid of the titles. This update seems to have fixed that issue. It is our pleasure to make this the first re-certified app at tablet certified.

Tips:
- When zooming, hold the gesture for half a second. Comic Zeal will lock that zoom and position when you turn the page, it's a great way to hide borders. Try zooming using your thumbs while holding the iPad in both hands.
- Have a look through the in-app settings. There you can change he background (try the magic one), adjust brightness, turn on manga mode and other useful things.
- You can turn pages by swiping or tapping the sides of the screen. The tap area is thin so that you can easily reach past it with your thumb for scrolling. The BEST way to change page is to simply slide your thumb from the iPad's frame to the screen and back. It's picked up as a page turn every time and it's very natural.
- You can group comics by pressing 'Edit', select more than one comic, press 'Move', then select the 'New Series ...' option.
- You can import cbz/cbr/rar,zip and PDF comics directly into Comic Zeal using iTunes file sharing. Add to Cart
